UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid a one-day visit to Maharajganj district on Friday. Here he saw the development works of Chowk Nagar Panchayat. The statue of Baba Gambhirnath was also inaugurated at the Gorakshanath temple. During this, CM Yogi gave a gift of Rs 940 crore to the public and said that now the happiness of Diwali has doubled. He laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several projects including the new Nagar Panchayat building, multi-purpose stadium and other projects.

CM Yogi Adityanath underlined the comprehensive development taking place in UP at Chowk and said that the problems of the people were resolved in the village secretariats and they benefited from the government schemes. Similarly, facilities should be provided to people in civic offices. The Chief Minister also said that just as there can be a smart city, there can also be a smart civic body, if there can be a safe city, similarly there can be a safe civic body. During this he visited the Sonadi Mata temple of Chowk. He also gave necessary directions after seeing the beautification work being carried out in Sonadi. The CM met the primary school children along with the temple and local MLAs and MPs and congratulated them by giving them gifts.
Faculty of medicine inaugurated
CM Yogi inaugurated KMC Medical College based on PPP model. During this, while addressing the students and public, he also spoke about the rapid development taking place in Maharajganj. He said the medical college was built under the leadership of Vinay Srivastava, founder of KMC College, an organization of Shanti Foundation. It was only after the show that CM Yogi Adityanath’s love for children was seen, where he was seen caressing a little boy.
