There is anger among Congress members over objectionable comments made by an actor on social media to MP Rahul Gandhi from Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli district. Meanwhile, Amethi district president of NSUI, along with his team, filed a complaint against the actor in the matter and demanded action. There has been a protest notice if the complaint is not filed. Although the actor has already apologized for this matter by withdrawing the charge, the congressmen are demanding registration of FIR against him.
In fact, at the Munshiganj district police station, NSUI district president Sumit Tiwari and his team submitted a complaint letter to the police station demanding action against the objectionable comments made by Orissa actor Buddhaditya Mohanty, about Rahul Gandhi on social media. In addition, there have been warnings of violent protests if action is not taken.
On this whole matter, NSUI district president Sumit Tiwari said that a television actor had made indecent comments about our leader Rahul Gandhi. After this, we all went to the police station and submitted a complaint letter asking that an FIR be registered against him and strict action be taken. But the case has not been registered yet. If the case is not registered, we will be forced to protest. He alleged that the television actor threatened to kill our leader.
On this issue, Munshiganj police station in-charge Shivakant Tripathi said that the matter is under cognizance. He has been sent to the surveillance cell for investigation.
