CBSE CTET 2024: The application period for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has closed. But currently a CTET process is still underway that will be closed soon. If applicants are unable to take advantage of the ongoing process until October 25, 2025, they may also miss the exam.
Currently, the December CTET exam will be held on October 14, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: Paper 1: 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Paper 2: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The exam will be held in 136 cities. If the number of candidates is greater in any city, the exam can also be held on December 15. The online registration process began on September 17 and continued until October 16.
Now CBSE has given the opportunity to those candidates who filled the form to appear in the CTET exam. If there is any error in the candidate’s completed form, it can be corrected until October 25. If an error is found later in the form, that candidate may also be prevented from appearing in the exam. The correction window will be open from October 21 to 25.
What can happen if there is an error in the CTET form?
If you have made a mistake on the CTET application form and the correction time has passed, it may have the following impact on your exam appearance:
You may be disqualified: Application forms that contain errors and have not been corrected are often declared invalid by exam organizers.
Permission to sit the exam can be obtained: In some cases, the exam organizers may allow you to sit the exam, but you will be responsible for any problems in the future.
The result can be prevented: If your result is affected due to your mistake, your result may be withheld.
What can be edited on the CTET exam form?
During the correction process, applicants can make corrections to name, father’s and mother’s name, category, address, employment status, mobile phone number, education, testing center and language.
How to make the correction?
First of all, go to the official website of CTET ctet.nic.in and click on the Correction Window: CTET Dec-2024 link given on the home page. Now log in by entering the registration number and date of birth. Now make corrections to the form. The correction will be made only once and fees will not be refunded.
