Strong winds of 100 to 120 kilometers per hour are currently blowing in Odisha and Bengal. Rains continue in many areas of Odisha and West Bengal.

Trees have been uprooted in many areas of Odisha after Cyclone Dana. Due to this the roads have been closed. The hoardings have been broken due to strong winds. The Meteorological Department says that once landfall is complete, heavier rain is possible in coastal areas. All safety measures have been taken to deal with Cyclone Dana in Odisha and West Bengal.
10 lakh people from 14 districts shifted to Odisha
Teams from NDRF, SDRF and district administration are deployed in the storm-affected areas. As a precautionary measure, 10 lakh people have been shifted from 14 districts of Odisha. 3.5 lakh people have been sent to safe places in West Bengal. Due to the storm, 300 flights and 552 trains were canceled in Bengal and Odisha.
