Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva has been admitted to the hospital. Sachdeva has been admitted to RML hospital after complaining of itching and difficulty in breathing. Sachdeva had taken a dip in the river two days ago to highlight the alleged failure in cleaning the Yamuna.
According to the PTI report, Sachdeva had reached Chhath Ghat on the banks of the Yamuna on Thursday. Where he also took a dip in Yamuna and targeted the Delhi government accusing it of not fulfilling its promise to clean the river by 2025. At first the doctors examined him and then gave him three days' worth of medicine. Now, after complaining of itching and difficulty breathing, he had to be admitted to RML Hospital. The Delhi BJP issued a statement saying Sachdeva had never faced such an issue before.

On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party leader and Environment Minister of the Delhi government, Gopal Rai, wished Sachdeva a speedy recovery. He said BJP leaders should understand now that their theater will not clean the river.
Before taking a dip in the Yamuna, Sachdeva apologized to the Yamuna river and promised that if the BJP wins the assembly elections to be held in Delhi next year, her party will form a separate authority for the revival of the Yamuna.
