An incident of fatal attack on a 30-year-old woman in Tilak Nagar, Delhi has come to light. The woman’s neighbor carried out this incident because he wanted to befriend her and she refused. Angered by this, the accused entered the woman’s home and stabbed her more than a dozen times with a knife. After this, the victim was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition.
According to the woman’s husband, the accused’s name is Ravinder Singh alias Goldie (36). He was pressuring his wife to become friends with him. He had previously sexually abused the woman on two separate occasions. But thanks to his sister’s intervention, no case was filed against him. Here the accused became angry because of the first refusal of friendship and then because of the complaint against him.
On Monday, around 11:30 a.m., the accused entered the woman’s house. At that time she was alone in the house. Once again he presented his proposal, but the woman refused. Angered by this, he attacked him with a knife several times. The woman has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. He is receiving treatment there. He has been under the supervision of senior doctors.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Vichitra Veer said that based on the complaint of the woman’s husband, a case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code and he was arrested. A weapon that could have been used in the crime has been recovered. The victim’s husband said she was stabbed about 25 times, while police said 12 times.
Police said the accused Ravinder Singh is a motor mechanic. He lives with his sister and brother-in-law in the victim’s neighborhood. The initial investigation revealed that the victim had come to live in the neighborhood with her husband and two children about two years ago. Based on the statement of the victim and the MLC (Medical Legal Case), a case of attempt to murder was registered. The investigation into this case is ongoing and the allegations are confirmed.
