During this, a demand was made to operate buses for girl students. Priyanka Kharkramji said that special buses should be run in the college for girls. The students have to face crowds and antisocial elements while traveling. Special buses for girls should run from the college to the bus stand.
Many departments close from three to five. Buses are not available outside the university and many buses run non-stop. This causes a lot of problems for girls. The students said that in many towns only one bus circulates. His time is fixed, but the bus to town leaves while he waits outside the university. After this one has to face problems.
At the university there is not even a common room for girls. The common room is one of the main needs of girls. Vice Chancellor Dr Ranpal Singh assured all the girls that the issues would be resolved at the earliest. During this time Ritu Jangra, Monica Nehra and Pooja were present.
