Diwali gift for these govt employees…Salary increased, bonus also announced! – Uttarakhand govt increases DA and Diwali bonus announcement for employees See details tutd

The Uttarakhand government has made a big announcement for the employees. The salary of government employees has been increased from the month of July. Which means that the arrears will also be added to the salary for the month of October. The government has increased the dearness allowance for employees by 3 percent. In such a situation, the dearness allowance has now increased to 53 per cent. This will be effective from July 1, 2024.

The balance of the dearness allowance will be paid in cash from July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024. According to the official statement, this allowance will be added to the regular salary from October 1, 2024. According to the statement of the government, this order will not automatically apply to the judges of the High Court, the chairman and members of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and some other categories of employees. Separate orders will be issued for these groups.

These people will receive a bonus.
For the financial year 2023-24, employees not included in the official list and daily wage employees of state government-aided educational institutions, local bodies and district panchayats will be considered eligible for the bonus. As per the Government of India order, a 30-day bonus will be provided, subject to a maximum limit of ₹7,000.

How much bonus will you get?
This bonus is applicable to employees who were in service until March 31, 2024 and whose service period was at least six months. Employees with services ranging from six months to one year will receive a bonus depending on their period of employment. The bonus amount will be calculated on the basis of the average annual income, the maximum limit of which will be Rs 7,000. For example, for a period of 30 days, this amount would be INR 6908.

Casual and daily wage employees who have worked a minimum of 240 days a year in the last three years (for offices working six days a week) will also be eligible for this bonus equivalent to ₹1,184. Employees found guilty of departmental misconduct or involved in criminal cases will not be eligible to receive bonuses. However, according to the statement, employees reinstated after suspension will be entitled to the bonus.
