Prashant Kishore is the founder of Jansuraj
Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor, who will be contesting elections for the first time after forming a political party in Bihar, takes part in an election campaign in the state, while addressing a rally in Ramgarh, Bihar, on Wednesday. He said people should not be divided on the basis of caste and political parties should not be supported in the name of free ration. He said that due to this policy the State has been behind for a long time.
Kishor, founder of the Indian Political Action Committee, a platform set up to engage young professionals in politics, said the governments in power so far in Bihar, as well as the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, have ignored his home state, Bihar.
stop voting on the caste system
Kishore alleged that Lalu and Nitish kept the entire Bihar trapped in caste for 35 years. For the last 10 years, Modi has been cheating you for free ration. If you want a better future for yourself and your children, stop voting for caste and free ration.
Kishor appealed to people not to vote for the BJP and said that if you vote for the BJP, it will mean that you are supporting Nitish Kumar. Because if the BJP wins, it will also support Nitish Kumar.
Criminal in Lalu, unrestrained officer in Nitish
Accusing the previous governments, Kishore said that instead of terror of criminals during the Lalu era, there is now terror of unbridled bureaucracy during Nitish Kumar’s tenure. There is confusion in the state due to the ongoing land survey.
After prepaid smart meters became mandatory, people are receiving exorbitant electricity bills and their connections are disconnected without warning. He also alleged that if he supports the BJP, it will strengthen Nitish Kumar’s hands and his problems will continue.
By-elections for four seats in the state
Jan Suraj is contesting four seats in the Bihar assembly, where by-elections will be held on November 13. Apart from Ramgarh, by-elections are being held for Imamganj, Belaganj and Tarari assembly seats in Bihar. All these seats fell vacant due to resignation of MLAs from the respective areas after becoming MPs in the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year.
