Shri Kapal Mochan Adi Badri State Fair, which will be held from November 11 to 15, 2024, thousands of Hindu, Muslim and Sikh devotees from different provinces of the country come here every year on the occasion of full moon in the month of Kartik and they desire salvation. According to the Puranas, Kapal Mochan Tirtha is a sacred pilgrimage site that provides freedom from sins in the three worlds. Keeping in mind the comfort and convenience of travelers attending the fair, the fair administration makes extensive arrangements. In which special provisions are made for drinking water, sanitation, fire protection, medical care and police to maintain law and order in the fair area.
Fair administrator and SDM Jaspal Singh Gill said that for the convenience of pilgrims coming to the fair, consultation and information centre, clean and disease-free environment will be established at the fair, special security arrangements at Janana Ghats, provision of free medicines for pilgrims. In addition to the construction of temporary toilets, the provision of electricity and the parking of vehicles at the fair, necessary arrangements are made for bathing in the sacred lakes. He said all necessary arrangements for Mera Shri Kapal Mochan etc. Badri will be completed on time.
