Muqāb means cube in Arabic. This building will have a cubic structure. Its height will be 1,300 feet (about 396 meters) and its width will be 1,200 feet (about 366 meters). About 86 percent of the preliminary work for the construction of this building has been completed. The building is being developed by New Murabba Development Company and its construction has been financed by the Central Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. A total of 900 workers have been employed in this project. The construction of this building will be completed in 2030.

This will be the world's first immersive destination. There will be a green area to walk. There will be separate bike paths. A university, immersive theater and more than 80 entertainment and cultural venues will be built in this city. The transportation of this city will be very high technology.

Project objective

Indeed, the project aims to revitalize the city of Riyadh and make a significant contribution to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 initiative. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the project last year as part of his ambitious Saudi Vision 2030. Saudi Arabia wants to expand its economy rapidly through this project.
