Sub-inspector and 5 other police officers injured
Faridabad News (Aaj Samaj) Faridabad: In a town in the district, a case of assault by relatives of a young man from the team who had gone to arrest the accused under the Weapons Law has come to light. Police personnel were also injured in this fight. Even after the accused’s family members attacked the police personnel, the police nabbed the youth. CIA sub-inspector Satyavan has complained about this matter to the police. In the complaint, he said that based on secret information, he had gone to Bhupani area with his team to arrest the accused named under the Arms Act. Constables Sandeep, Vikas Ashu, Jagdish and Mukesh were also with him. When he reached Bhupani village, he came to know that the accused was sitting in a shop opposite HDFC bank. He called the store with his team. When asked his name, the accused said his name was Jeetu.
When they tried to catch the accused, he fled. After this, the team chased him and reached his house. The defendant stood outside the house and began yelling. Hearing his voice, an elderly woman and man came out of the house. When he asked the reason for the shouting, the accused said he was being arrested. Given this, the elders protested against the arrest. He screamed and gathered other family members and close people. He protested against Jitu’s arrest.
They file a complaint against those who released the accused
When the team started forcefully arresting the accused and taking him away, the family members started putting pressure on the team. After this a fight also started. During this period the team suffered injuries. However, the team warned relatives and neighbors to step back for fear of the law. After this they left and the team caught the accused and made him sit in the car. All police personnel were also injured during the clash. The team has filed a complaint at the police station against the people who tried to free the accused.
