(Fatehabad News) Fatehabad. This time Haryana’s third state level ‘Off-Ice Bandy Competition’ will be organized in Fatehabad. This championship will be organized on October 26 and 27 at the Royal Skating Ground located at Apex School in Satish Colony. 200 players from 12 districts of different age groups under 12, 14, 17, 19 years old and older men and women will participate in this championship, showing their sporting talent.
This competition will be inaugurated by Fatehabad MLA Balwan Singh Daulatpuriya as the chief guest. Haryana Bandy Association President Jai Bhagwan Sharma and General Secretary Pramod Kaushik will welcome the guests and players arriving for the competition. Giving information in this regard, Haryana Bandy Association General Secretary Pramod Kaushik said that this championship will be organized in the senior U-12, U-14, U-19 categories of boys and girls. All preparations for the championship have been completed.
He said that through this sports competition we want to send a message to the entire state of Haryana that while we can maintain our healthy health through sports, youth can also make their future bright by performing brilliantly in the sports. He said that Ice Bandy game is now liked not only in Haryana but all over the country. There has been a lot of interest in this game among the youth of the country.
He said that earlier this game was played only in European countries, but now it has made a place in many countries of the world, including India. It has also been included in Khelo India and the World Games in India. Pramod Kaushik said that the winning players of this state level competition will represent Haryana in the sixth national bandy competition to be held in the month of November.
