Jodhpur: An FIR has been lodged against the owner and doctor of Vasundhara Hospital in the death case of Priyanka Vishnoi (33 years), who was the Assistant Collector (ACM) of Jodhpur. A case has been registered against Dr Sanjay Makwana, Dr Renu Makwana, Dr Vinod Shaili, Dr Jitendra and all medical staff. The police are currently investigating the matter.
According to information, Priyanka was admitted to Vasundhara Hospital on September 5. Lawyer Naman Mohnot told the court that doctors had admitted Priyanka for a generalized illness. Later, Priyanka's condition started deteriorating. As Priyanka's condition worsened, she was referred to SIMS hospital in Ahmedabad on September 7. The local doctors, after examining the report, clarified that the patient had a “bleed” that had not been properly treated before.
After Priyanka's death, a special committee was formed to investigate the matter. Many important points were discussed in the committee's report. It was found that doctors at Vasundhara Hospital did not provide proper treatment to the patient despite his critical condition.
