On Friday, Loni MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar created a ruckus at the Crossing Republic police station in Ghaziabad. He has accused the police of demanding a bribe of Rs 10 lakh from an accused and sending him to jail if he did not pay it. The accused is accused of assaulting a Maulana and forcing him to chant Jai Shri Ram by force. The accused, who was released on bail, informed the Loni MLA about the incident. Following this, Loni MLA along with his supporters reached the Crossing Republic police station on Friday afternoon.

Let us tell you that a few days ago the case of accused Manoj Prajapati who forcibly made a Jai ​​Shri Ram maulana chant in Crossing Republic Panchsheel Society police station area in Ghaziabad came to light. It is alleged that the accused Manoj Prajapati had thrown Maulana out of the lift for not saying Jai Shri Ram. In this case, following Maulana’s complaint, the police registered the case and arrested the accused Manoj and sent him to jail.

Police accused of demanding bribe to leave

Now the accused Manoj has been released on bail. According to MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar, Manoj Prajapati met him after coming out of jail and told him that the police were demanding a bribe of Rs 10 to acquit him of the case and release him from the police station. As he could not pay such a huge amount as bribe, the police sent him to jail. Hearing this, angry MLA Nandkishore Gurjar reached the Crossing Republic police station on Friday and created a ruckus.

On the other hand, Manoj Prajapati says that the police do not have any proof that he raised the Jai Shri Ram slogan. On this basis, the police also promised to release him with Rs 10 lakh. When the bribe was not found, the police sent him to jail. Now his wife receives threatening calls every day. His entire family is scared by this incident. While MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar said that this matter will not stop here. He will also meet CM Yogi Adityanath on this matter.
