Except Giriraj Singh, all other leaders travel under the banner of their political parties, but the BJP has already distanced itself from Giriraj Singh’s visit, and the JDU, BJP’s ally in the NDA, is also not happy with Giriraj’s visit. Singh. .
Giriraj Singh also described the Hindu Swabhiman Yatra as personal, but the Bihar BJP has distanced itself from the Yatra, which has the same Hindutva agenda as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the BJP.
It’s okay if the JDU doesn’t like Giriraj Singh’s visit, but I can’t stomach the fact that the BJP doesn’t like it either. Giriraj Singh was a leader of Modi and Hindutva in Bihar from the beginning. When Giriraj Singh, the only one from Bihar, used to give advice like “Go to Pakistan…”, its echo was heard in many parts of the country, including Delhi.
Why didn’t Giriraj get support from the BJP?
First, let us try to understand this from the Bihar BJP statement. Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal first brushed it off by saying that Giriraj Singh’s yatra is not being held under the BJP banner, making his comment meaningless.

Dilip Jaiswal also tried to explain that Giriraj Singh’s journey was in the name of hate. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been claiming to open the shop of love, why is the BJP trying to claim the borrowed slogan as its own?
Did Dilip Jaiswal see no place for love in the Hindu Swabhiman Yatra? Things like this sound good for the Sangh and the BJP in the mouths of Congress leaders, but it would seem strange for a BJP leader to say all this.
If we look at Giriraj Singh’s travel route, it completely fits into the Hindutva agenda. ‘Hindu Swabhiman Yatra’ was scrapped in Seemanchal region of Bihar. Starting from Bhagalpur on October 18, this yatra passed through Katihar, Purnia, Araria and ended at Kishanganj, and throughout the journey, Giriraj Singh appealed to people to join.
The areas through which Giriraj Singh’s journey passed are very important in terms of Muslim population. Bhagalpur, where the yatra began, has an 18 per cent Muslim population, where communal riots also occurred in 1989.
And similarly, the Muslim population in Kishanganj is said to be 68 percent, in Katihar 45 percent, in Araria 43 percent and in Purnia 38 percent. If Bihar BJP has any personal enmity with Giriraj Singh, then it is a different matter. For the rest, his Hindu Swabhiman Yatra is in no way less politically important.
The point is the same: “If you divide, you will be divided.”
Recently, a statement by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been quite popular: “If we divide, we will cut”; is not exactly the same, but the statements of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also seem to be similar. .
Mohan Bhagwat says, “Hindu society will have to unite for its security by erasing the differences and disputes of language, caste… and region.”

If you pay attention, Giriraj Singh also talks about similar things and also travels. The issues raised along the way by Giriraj Singh, who planned the yatra route 150 kilometers from his Lok Sabha constituency Begusarai, also fall within the purview of the Hindutva agenda of the Sangh and the BJP.
While talking about ‘Love, Spittle and Land Jihad’ in Katihar, Giriraj Singh also raises the issue of ‘Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltration’; after reaching Kishanganj Chowk, he also starts reciting Hanuman Chalisa.
During the Hindu Swabhiman Yatra, Giriraj Singh says, “Everyone should do puja in their homes,” and like Yogi-Modi-Bhagwat, he also warns, “Only if you stay organized, you will be safe.”
