How much did gold become cheaper on MCX?
MCX stands for multi-commodity market, which is also called futures market. Here gold for December 5 futures has fallen by Rs 287 to Rs 78040 per 10 grams. While during the trading day it had decreased by 400 rupees. Here, the lifetime highest level of 10 grams of gold (gold price today) is Rs 78919 per 10 grams. In such a situation, it has become cheaper by over Rs 800 per 10 grams from its all-time high level.

Silver became cheaper by Rs 3,700.
Talking about silver, today the price of 1 kg of silver in the futures market was Rs 96,500, which became cheaper by Rs 535. However, during the trading day it was reduced by Rs 1,200 per kg. The lifetime silver high level is Rs 100,289 per kg. If seen in such a situation, it has fallen more than Rs 3,700 from its record level.

Gold and silver prices in the bullion market
Talking about gold in the bullion market, 24 carat gold prices here are Rs 78015 per 10 grams, down Rs 231 from yesterday night. That means that today the price of 24 carat gold has decreased by Rs 231. 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 77,703 per 10 grams on Friday evening, which has decreased by Rs 230. Similarly, the price of 20 carat gold was Rs 71,462 per 10 grams and that of 18 carat gold was Rs 58,511 per 10 grams.

There has also been a drop in the price of silver today. Today, the price of silver in the bullion market is Rs 95,800 per kg, which is Rs 1,693 per kg cheaper than yesterday. Yesterday i.e. Thursday the price of silver (Silver Price Update) was Rs 97493 per kg.
