Delhi Chief Minister Atishi
The Delhi government has taken a big step for those who like to dine late at night in a hotel or restaurant. To promote night light in the capital, Chief Minister Atishi has allowed hotels and restaurants to remain open 24 hours. The Atishi government has allowed restaurants and food establishments to remain open 24 hours in Aerocity near Indira Gandhi International Airport.
This move by the Delhi government is expected to boost nightlife and boost the economic growth of the state. An official statement from the government said that this 24×7 governance model will not only enhance the visitor experience but also contribute significantly to the state’s revenue.
Income Growth Possibilities in Delhi
With this decision by the Atishi government, there is a possibility of revenue growth in Delhi as a major tourist destination. Additionally, it is expected to increase revenue through licensing fees. Earlier on Tuesday, the Delhi government had allowed 111 additional shops and commercial establishments to remain open 24 hours. Now the number of establishments allowed to operate 24 hours a day has crossed 700. A similar policy is in place in Gurugram, adjacent to Delhi, where hotels and restaurants stay open late into the night in exchange for additional fees.
Delhi government increases revenue
Indira Gandhi International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the country, seeing a large number of tourist arrivals. Keeping this in mind, Aerocity was built near the Delhi airport. In such a situation, CM Atishi approved the proposal related to Aerocity, due to which the state’s revenue is expected to increase. The Delhi government is continuously increasing its revenue by taking such decisions.
