The 24th National Para Swimming Championships were held in Goa.
(Society Today) Gurugram: Gurugram’s Revansh Adalkha has created another new record to his name by winning 3 golds at the 24th National Para Swimming Championships. Revansh, a student of class 9, has brought glory to Gurugram in this championship held in Goa from October 19 to 22. In Goa, the Chief Minister honored him with a gold medal and a trophy for the best swimmer. Revansh Adlakha won the gold medal in 50m freestyle, gold medal in 50m backstroke and gold medal in 50m breaststroke.
His achievement in the national swimming competitions is also a matter of great pride for Gurugram. Also in the first week of this month, Revansh Adalkha created history by winning a total of 4 medals, including 3 gold and 1 bronze, at the 3rd National Swimming and Athletics Championship organized by Cerebral Palsy Sports Federation of the India in Nadiad, Ahmedabad, at the CPSFI National Swimming Championships. So far this month, Revansh has won a total of 7 medals: 6 gold and one bronze.

Revansh has given the credit for his achievement to his grandfather Madan Lal Adlakha, his parents, all his family members, his coach and the school teachers. He said no one ever made him feel like he was disabled in any way. Hundreds of people welcomed Reyansh with drums and flower garlands at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. All the family members, along with his friend SP Dhamarni and his wife Rekha Dhamarni, welcomed Revansh with flower garlands. He also expressed hope that the city’s social organizations, corporations and industries will come forward. He will come forward to encourage them and provide them with financial assistance.
