The name of the president and vice president of the assembly will be decided
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: The BJP has called a legislative party meeting today ahead of the Haryana Assembly session that begins tomorrow. The meeting will be held at Sant Kabir Kutir, the residence of Chief Minister Nayab Saini. At the meeting the names of the president and vice president of the Assembly will be discussed. The BJP can decide the names of the president and vice-president before the Assembly session. The names of the MLAs who will be appointed to both posts will be announced in today’s meeting. All MLAs will be sworn in by Protem president Raghubir Kadian in the assembly session starting tomorrow. After that new actions will begin. The assembly session will last two days.
Harvindra Kalyan is leading the race for the presidency and Krishna Midha for the vice presidency.
For the post of Assembly Speaker, MLA Harvindra Kalyan from Gharaunda, Karnal and Jind MLA Krishna Krishna Midha are leading the race for the post of Deputy Speaker. Moolchand Sharma and Ramkumar Gautam are also participating in this race. Earlier, CM Nayab Saini received the green signal from Delhi for the post of president and vice president.
