Bhadohi: The police have revealed a murder case in the district, the surprising motive of which has come to light. Here the police revealed the murder case of Yogendra Bahadur Singh, principal of Inder Bahadur Singh National Inter College. Giving information about the case on Tuesday, Bhadohi police said that to avenge the murder of Ajay Bahadur Singh, who was appointed in the same university 27 years ago, his son had got the principal murdered by giving him betel nut.
The murder was committed 27 years ago.
Giving information about the case, SP Meenakshi Katyayan said that Yogendra Bahadur Singh and his brother Anil Singh had murdered Ajay Bahadur. After the murder of Ajay Bahadur, Yogendra Bahadur himself became a professor at this university. He said a case was registered against Yogendra Bahadur and his brother Anil for the murder of Ajay Bahadur, but both were acquitted of the charges in 2002. At the time of the incident, Ajay Bahadur’s son Saurabh Singh was very young and now has grown.

SP Meenakshi Katyayan said that in the Yogendra Bahadur Singh murder case, the police and surveillance team, with the help of CCTV footage, recovered a Tata Safari vehicle which was related to this incident. On this basis, Saurabh Singh, a resident of Shivkuti of Prayagraj district, and Mohammad Kalim, a resident of Phulpur of the same district, were arrested.
Revealed during interrogation
The superintendent of police said, “During interrogation, both of them confessed that they had given betel nut worth Rs 5 lakh to the Pratapgarh shooter for the murder of director Yogendra.” The police team is trying to nab these shooters. Let us tell you that on October 21, Inder Bahadur Singh National Inter College Principal Yogendra Bahadur Singh (56) was shot dead.
