‘Munde had strangled his son Prateek to death’

The prosecutor said that on the night of May 14, 2023, in Tejaji Nagar area, Munde had strangled his 6-year-old son Prateek to death at the instigation of his third wife Payal. Not only this, Munde also made a video of the incident and sent it to Payal. He said Munde’s first wife and Prateek’s mother had died about 10 years ago. He later married another woman but Munde had also abandoned his second wife. Munde married Payal for the third time, but Prateek, born to his first wife, always irritated him.

‘Payal had made a condition to return to her in-laws’ house.

The prosecutor said Payal had given birth to a son in her maternal home, but would not return to her in-laws’ house. She said Payal told her husband that she would return to him only if he threw Prateek out of the house or took his life. The officer said the police also found a 4 minute 47 second video on Munde’s mobile in which he is seen strangling his son Prateek to death. We tell you that when Munde and Payal were sentenced on October 22, their son was in jail with his mother.

The court said this about Munde and Payal’s son.

The additional sessions judge said in his decision that the district administration should make adequate arrangements for the residence and education of the children of Munde and Payal so that both criminals can become responsible citizens by keeping them away from the “shadow of corrupt mentality “. and from the mainstream of society.
