Arvind Kejriwal has resigned from the post of Chief Minister and has entered the electoral fray to give the acid test in Delhi. During the Delhi Padyatra, he presents the ten years of work of the Aam Aadmi Party government as achievements; At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal is running an open campaign in Delhi.
Recently, Swati Maliwal shared an old photo on social site X, in which she is standing next to Arvind Kejriwal, and Manish Sisodia is seen in the back row. While sharing the photo, Swati Maliwal had written: This is a photo from 2007, I left work after finishing college… I dedicated my entire career to social service… at that time there was no party, no government… I work for poor people. I used to do it, I used to have a lot of pleasure… Those times were very good.
It was not immediately understood what the objective of this step by Swati Maliwal was. One thing was clear that earlier she and Arvind Kejriwal were also similar, but now the Aam Aadmi Party leaders have changed, but it was not understood what Swati Maliwal meant by sharing the picture and in any case, if you want, then what? whom? ? Of Arvind Kejriwal or the people of Delhi?
At one point, it seemed as if Swati Maliwal was trying to pave the way for commitment by reminding people of old things. But nothing happened. Neither Swati Maliwal said anything about it again, nor does there seem to be any response from Arvind Kejriwal. Otherwise, Swati Maliwal would not have had the opportunity to launch a new denunciation campaign.
Believe it or not Arvind Kejriwal, the Swati Maliwal case is definitely a weak link for him in Delhi, and it has also loomed in the Lok Sabha elections.
Swati’s new campaign against Kejriwal
Swati Maliwal questioned the functioning of the Delhi government on the pretext of a garbage heap in Janakpuri, Delhi, and directly attacked Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal. Swati Maliwal also made a 1.27-minute video, which she shared on social media.
In a short note written along with the video, Swati Maliwal has mainly said three things.
1. Swati Maliwal has presented Janakpuri as a model case. Swati Maliwal has written: What bad situation are you facing? Thousands of people are forced to live here in such filth… Garbage has reached the roads… It is difficult to breathe and there are long traffic jams.
2. Furthermore, Swati Maliwal has also warned the Mayor of Delhi if cleanup measures are not taken. Tagging the mayor, writes Swati Maliwal, Shaili Oberoi should also understand… to clean up this garbage… otherwise more garbage than this will arrive in front of his house.
3. And along with this, he has also strongly reprimanded Arvind Kejriwal in a harsh tone: ‘You consider yourself a king… You compare yourself to Shri Krishna… In what condition are the cows eating garbage on the streets under your rule? …Leave your palace sometime and take a look.
Swati Maliwal has for the first time launched such an attack against Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party, in which even the mayor has been included. Earlier she had also been targeting Atishi, but after Manish Sisodia’s release, Swati Maliwal’s softening attitude was seen. He felt as if he could see some glimmer of hope.
After the incident of assault suffered at the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence, Swati Maliwal lodged a complaint with the police only after a brief pause. Bibhav Kumar took action on Swati Maliwal’s complaint and was arrested and sent to jail. The case is in court and Bibhav Kumar is currently out on bail.
When Arvind Kejriwal went to jail after the bail period ended, Swati Maliwal had written a letter to the INDIA Block leaders seeking time to meet. Rahul Gandhi is also among the leaders to whom Swati Maliwal had written a letter. But except Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, no one has come out openly from the Congress side.
And similarly, what was the reaction of other India Bloc leaders to Swati Maliwal’s letter, this has not been revealed so far by any party – and this seems to be the reason why Swati Maliwal, seeing the opportunity of assembly elections in Delhi, has Written to Arvind Kejriwal. A new campaign against it has been started.
Kejriwal doesn’t care about his colleagues.
In the Swati Maliwal case, Arvind Kejriwal had indicated from the beginning that he would support Bibhav Kumar. The picture of Bibhav Kumar with Arvind Kejriwal in Lucknow after the incident at the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence is proof of this.
However, Bibhav Kumar also seems to be an exception because Arvind Kejriwal’s record in front of his colleagues is very bad. Swati Maliwal can also be considered an example in this case, because both Swati Maliwal and Bibhav Kumar are working with Arvind Kejriwal since the beginning.
Like Swati Maliwal, Anjali Damania, a former associate of Arvind Kejriwal, has criticized Arvind Kejriwal’s political stand in Maharashtra. You may remember that Anjali Damania used to be the face of Arvind Kejriwal’s movement in Maharashtra, and both of them used to sit together in front of the media and present evidence of corruption against the leaders of Maharashtra, and it was thanks to Arvind Kejriwal’s campaign. that Nitin Gadkari had to step down as BJP president even as the organisation’s constitution was amended to pave the way for him to become president again.
Anjali Damania wrote a post on the social network X, in which she accuses Arvind Kejriwal of betraying his colleagues and breaking people’s expectations. Swati Maliwal is the latest victim of Arvind Kejriwal’s wrath, there is a long list of victims, which includes Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan, Kumar Vishwas, Anand Kumar, Ajit Jha, Ashutosh, Ashish Khaitan, Shazia Ilmi, Kapil Mishra, Munish Raizada, Names like Rajmohan Gandhi, Alka Lamba, Mayank Gandhi, GR Gopinath, Ashok Chauhan and Gurpreet Singh are included.
In such a situation, it doesn’t seem like Arvind Kejriwal cares about Swati Maliwal, but if Swati Maliwal’s case has even a small impact on the people of Delhi, then the results can be similar to the Lok Sabha elections.
