There is an important news for all those candidates who have applied for the RRB NTPC Recruitment Exam 2024 (UG Posts). The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will start the application correction process for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) postgraduate posts from tomorrow i.e. October 30. Once released, eligible candidates who have filled the RRB NTPC application form 2024 will be able to edit it through the official website rrbapply.gov.in.
To make corrections in the Railway RRB NTPC 2024 application form, candidates need to log in with their application number and date of birth. The last date to edit the application form for postgraduate posts is 6th November.
What can’t be edited
As per the official notification, all fields of the form except email ID and mobile number are open for editing. Candidates will have to pay an amendment fee of Rs 250 for each change in the RRB NTPC Application Form 2024.
How much fee will have to be paid?
The official notification reads: “After final submission of online application, if any candidate modifies, changes or corrects any details except the details filled in the ‘Account Creation Form’ (including mobile number and ID email) and the chosen RRB. If a person wishes to do so, he/she may do so by paying a modification fee of Rs 250 (non-refundable) for each occasion.”
If a candidate changes his community category from Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) to Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Class (OBC) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS), an additional fee will be charged. in the exam fee. The difference amount, which is Rs 250, will have to be paid along with the amendment fee.
How many positions will be hired?
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 11,558 vacancies in various roles. Of these, 3,445 posts are reserved for undergraduate positions, which include roles such as Junior Clerk with Typist, Accounts Clerk with Typist, Railway Clerk and Commercial Ticket Clerk. The remaining 8,113 vacancies have been allocated for postgraduate level posts, which include posts such as Goods Train Manager, Business Head and Ticket Supervisor, Senior Secretary and Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant and Typist and Station Master.
