Why is everyone from Yogi to Sangh emphasizing this?
If you divide, you will divide… After Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, RSS leader Datatreya Hosabale has also emphasized this. The host says that if we differentiate between advanced and backward castes and languages, we will be isolated. History also says the same, that is why it is necessary for Hindus to be united.
After this statement by Hosabale, it is now believed that in the coming days the noise of Batenge to Katenge slogan can be heard even louder.
PDA ruins the game in Hindi Patti
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) slogan in the Hindi belt has ruined the Bharatiya Janata Party's game. The BJP had to suffer huge losses in states like UP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand and Maharashtra.
In UP and Maharashtra, the BJP's Lok Sabha seats were less than those of the Indian alliance. Due to setbacks in these states, the party was unable to form a government with an absolute majority for the third time. The BJP could only win 240 seats, much less than in 2014 and 2019.
While analyzing the defeat of the BJP-RSS, caste mobilization was considered an important reason. According to CSDS, Muslims, non-Jatav Dalits, Yadavs and non-Yadav OBCs in UP voted in large numbers against the BJP.
Similarly, caste mobilization was also seen in many seats in Bihar. In Jharkhand, the BJP resoundingly lost five seats reserved for tribals. The BJP's performance was worse in Maharashtra. His allies also failed to win more seats.
Demand for census and caste participation dominates
Even after the Lok Sabha, the demand for caste census and participation is dominant in the Hindi heartland states. For a long time, parties here have been demanding a caste census from the Centre. In UP, Akhilesh Yadav is busy fine-tuning his PDA strategy.
For this, Akhilesh has decided to organize PDA Panchayat in the villages. On the other hand, the Congress is organizing a constitutional convention to woo Dalit voters. Recently, Rahul Gandhi participated in the Constitutional Conference in Ranchi.
If you divide against PDA, you will be isolated.
To mitigate the PDA's ticket in the Hindi belt, the Bharatiya Janata Party has given Batenge's ticket to Katenge. According to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, this formula has been prepared in a special laboratory. The task of implementing the formula has been entrusted to the UP CM.
In fact, for the first time Yogi Adityanath had given the motto of Batenge to Katenge. Since then this slogan is in the headlines. Sangh's Sarkaryavah Datatreya Hosabale has also commented on this. Hosabale says there is nothing wrong with calling everyone to join.
It is said that the Sangh and the BJP are trying to unite Hindus through this slogan so that caste creep can be easily stopped. If the ethnic surge in the Hindi belt is not stopped, the way forward will not be easy for the party.
How did the Batenge to Katenge formula come about?
On August 26, 2024, Yogi Adityanath had given the Batenge slogan to Katenge for the first time at a rally in Agra. Yogi had said that right now in Bangladesh we are seeing people being killed. Here too, if you divide, you will be divided. This motto of Yogi Adityanath was not a mere coincidence.
According to sources, the script of this slogan began to be written from June 2024 itself. In the first week of August, a high-level meeting was held with 23 RSS thinkers in Bhopal, capital of Madhya Pradesh. Some BJP leaders were also involved in this.
In this meeting, it was discussed how to eliminate the caste-based uprising in the Hindi belt. In the Sangh, such officials are called ideologues and they supervise work related to the magazine or writing.
20 days after this meeting, Yogi used the motto Batenge to Katenge for the first time.
