In Karnataka, people will be allowed to burst crackers only for two hours on Diwali, BJP raised doubts over the decision – Karnataka Congress government has imposed restrictions on resale of lclk crackers

In Karnataka, on the occasion of Diwali, the state government gave permission to burst firecrackers only for two hours, so politics began there. BJP leaders have criticized the new guidelines issued by the Congress government on bursting of firecrackers.

BJP raised doubts over the decision

The government has given instructions that firecrackers should only burst between 8 and 10 pm and that during this time only green firecrackers should be used. On this, the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) attacked the Congress government and said that these restrictions apply only on Hindu festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali.

The government cited the Centre's guidelines.

Regarding the government's decision, Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre told our sister channel India Today that this complies with the orders of the Supreme Court and the Central Government, in which only two hours have been given to blow up the firecrackers During this period, only green crackers are allowed to be burned, the decibel level of which must be less than 125.

Minister Khandre also said that if the central government changes its order and gives more time for bursting firecrackers, he will consider removing these restrictions. Addressing BJP leader Yatnal, Ishwar Khandre said, “Yatnal has a personal grudge against me because I did not give pollution clearance for his company, that is why he has attacked me and posted wrong information on social media.”

Congress surrounded BJP leaders

He further said, 'Minister Prahlad Joshi is not aware of his own government's orders or the instructions of the Supreme Court. If they have any objection, then they should question the decisions of the Supreme Court and their own government. The Forest Minister clarified that the state government has only followed the guidelines of the Central Government and the Supreme Court.
