Yesterday was the last date to file nominations for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. After filing of nominations, a shocking figure emerged showing that around 92 candidates have rebelled across Vidarbha including Nagpur. Let us tell you that in the Maharashtra elections, all political parties have their eyes on the Vidarbha region. This area contains 62 of the total 288 assembly seats in the state. This means that whoever is ahead in the numbers game in this seat will receive a lot of help on the path to victory.

Only 12 electoral districts were able to survive the rebellion.

But the numbers of the rebels in this area are quite shocking. There is no rebellion in only 12 assembly constituencies in Vidarbha, including Nagpur. Prominent among them is Nagpur South West, from where Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is trying his luck for the sixth time. There has been no rebellion in this seat either in the Congress or the BJP. Even in Nagpur Southern Assembly constituency, there has been no rebellion by the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress.

Most of the rebels in Warora of Chandrapur district

According to the information received, there are a total of 62 seats in Vidarbha. Around 92 candidates have contested in these 62 seats. These include candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress, both the Shiv Sena and both the NCP. Among these 92 rebels, the maximum number of rebels is visible in Warora constituency of Chandrapur district. Here, between 7 and 8 rebels have challenged the main parties. The rebel candidates have presented their candidacy as independent candidates. Among rebel areas, Warora of Chandrapur is on top, while Akola West is in second place. Here 5 or 6 candidates rebelled and submitted their nomination papers. This time also a large number of rebels are seen in the Bharatiya Janata Party.

What did the BJP state president say?

When Maharashtra BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule was asked in this regard, he said those who are angry will be understood. He said there will be friendly fights in one or two places, the Bharatiya Janata Party will also declare it.
