IND vs NZ, Washington Sundar Match Highlights: The second match of the three-match Test series between the Indian team and New Zealand will be played in Pune starting Thursday (October 24). After losing the first match of the series, Indian coach Gautam Gambhir made a strange move which proved effective in the second match.

The big move was to include star Washington Sundar in the team. As the second Test began in Pune, captain Rohit Sharma replaced Sundar in the 11th game in place of Kuldeep Yadav. What happened next, as soon as he got the chance, Sundar made New Zealand the star of the day by taking wickets.

The New Zealand team took 7 wickets in 62 runs.

In the match, the New Zealand team won the toss and decided to bat first. The team also got off to a good start and scored 197 runs after losing 3 wickets in 59 overs. After this, Sundar’s storm came and started hunting down the New Zealand batsmen one by one.

The New Zealand team got so caught in Sundar’s spin trap that they collapsed after reaching 259 runs. Thus, in 62 runs, Sundar took the last 7 wickets and showed the stars of the day to the New Zealand team. In this way, it must be said that Gambhir and Rohit’s decision to include Sundar has been a success.

The first day of the match was in Sundar’s name.
