The exam pattern will return to its original format, where Section B will have only 5 questions per subject. Previously, due to Covid-19, five questions out of total 10 had to be attempted in JEE Mains from 2021. Now from 2025, NTA will follow the old pattern of JEE Mains where Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will have 25 questions each one. The agency said this will be applicable to both engineering (BE/B.Tech, Paper 1) and architecture and planning (B.Arch/B.Planning, Paper 2) tests.
