Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has released another list of candidates. The party has fielded Ganesh Mahali from Seraikela seat and Ramsurya Munda from Khunti. BJP has fielded former CM Champai Soren from Seraikela. Before joining the BJP, Champai Soren was a leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Now he has become a rebel.

Hemant Soren filed nomination papers

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday filed his nomination papers for the assembly elections. Hemant Soren, while criticizing Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam and co-in-charge of the BJP assembly elections in Jharkhand, called him a “migrant” CM. Hemant Soren said Himanta Biswa Sarma will not be seen in the state after the assembly elections are over.

They are doing their job. I’m doing my job.

Hemant Soren to contest elections from Barhet assembly seat

Chief Minister Hemant Soren will contest from Barhet assembly constituency. Meanwhile, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s wife and JMM leader Kalpana Soren on Thursday filed her nomination as her party’s candidate in Gandey assembly constituency. Kalpana Soren currently represents Gandeya assembly constituency.

JMM published a list of a total of 37 candidates

JMM had published its first list of 35 candidates for the October 23 elections. Today the names of two candidates have been announced. In this way, the list of a total of 37 candidates in JMM has come out. JMM and Congress will share 70 seats between them in the 81-member assembly. RJD will also contest the elections in alliance with India Alliance.

BJP released the list of 66 candidates

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday announced its first list of 66 candidates for the Jharkhand Assembly elections. Party state chief Babulal Marandi will contest from Dhanwar, Lobin Hembrom from Borio and Sita Soren from Jamtara. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren was named as the candidate from Seraikela, Geeta Balmuchhu from Chaibasa, Geeta Koda from Jagannathpur and Meera Munda, wife of Union minister Arjun Munda, from Potka.

Let us tell you that the assembly elections in Jharkhand will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20. The counting of votes will take place on November 23.
