Baba Siddiqui’s son Jishan Siddiqui has made a major attack on Maha Vikas Aghadi. He has said that Maha Vikas Aghadi broke his promise. He kept me in the dark and played with my emotions. Zeeshan is currently the sitting Congress MLA from Bandra East, but recently joined Ajit Pawar’s NCP. He will contest the upcoming assembly elections on behalf of Ajit Pawar’s party.
The Ajit group has given a ticket to Zeeshan Siddiqui of Bandra East. Attacking Maha Vikas Aghadi, Zeeshan said the MVA leaders had initially met him and promised him that he would be able to contest the elections without any opposition as a tribute to his late father’s legacy. However, he said he was kept in the dark until Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena announced its candidate. I was surprised. Zeeshan Siddiqui called MVA hypocritical.

Zeeshan further said that I was not in the right state of mind to think about anything, but the MVA leaders came to my house and told me that they were with me and my father’s legacy. He said that, as a sign of respect, he would let me participate in the elections without opposition. They came up with the proposal, but then kept me in the dark. A day later, Shiv Sena-UBT released the name of its candidate. I was taken aback.
He said that MVA has always been hypocritical and it is not new for them to act like this. I just felt sad because at that moment he tried to play with my emotions. On October 12 this month, Zeeshana Siddiqui’s father Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Bandra East. Voting for 288 seats in the Maharashtra assembly will be held on November 20 in a single phase. The results will be known on November 23.
