Immerse the clay idol in this way after Diwali puja
For immersion of the idol, choose a place where there is flowing water, such as a river, so that the idol can slowly dissolve in the water naturally. Immersion in a stagnant pond can contaminate the water. If possible, buy only idols made of clay and painted with natural colors. It dissolves quickly in water and causes less damage to the environment. If it is not possible to immerse the idol in the river, then you can immerse the idol in a bucket or tub at home and then pour that water in a garden. Thanks to this, the idol can be immersed and the water is also not contaminated. If there is metal, flowers, clothes, etc. with the idol, separate them before immersing it. These substances can contaminate water. After the dive, clean the area and try not to leave any plastic or trash behind.
