This was the date and time when the Israeli Air Force, with its fighter jets, bombed a particular building and the bunker built under the building in the Dahiya area of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Until now, the Israeli Air Force knew that some Hezbollah people were present under this building and bunker. But after this, the news that came out from inside the bunker shocked the entire world. In fact, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah was also killed in this airstrike.
Hassan Nasrallah had never appeared in 18 years
The death of Hassan Nasrallah was shocking even for Israel itself. The reason was that Nasrallah had never appeared before the world for the past 18 years. Nasrallah was last seen in public 18 years ago. It was about Nasrallah, who had never spent a single night anywhere in these 18 years. In such a situation, how did Israel come to know about this secret hideout of Hassan Nasrallah? If the reports are to be believed, then perhaps the information about Nasrallah’s whereabouts was given by none other than Ismail Kani, the head of the Iranian Kurdish forces himself. And the news about Kani is that he has been under house arrest in Tehran for three weeks.
Bunkers were built under the hospital.
Israel had bombed the Dahiya area in Beirut and Hassan Nasrallah, who was hiding in the bunker, was killed there. Actually, this is a residential area of Dahiya. There is a hospital in this area. The name of this hospital is Al-Sahal Hospital. A bunker was built under part of this hospital. But the path to this bunker does not go through the hospital. There are many houses around the hospital. In the middle there is a large residential complex consisting of 6 houses. The Hezbollah chief had built some bunkers under the same compound. The one he used to hide in. A similar bunker was also built underground, just below the hospital. But Hassan Nasrallah and his other commanders did not hide in this bunker built under the hospital. Rather, he used this bunker to store money that would be used in the operation against Israel.
They find 500 million dollars and a treasure in a bunker
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari made a sensational revelation while speaking to the media. He not only revealed but also released a video and some graphics. According to Hagari, in the bunker built just below the hospital, Hezbollah kept about 500 million dollars, that is, in Indian currency, gold worth about 42 billion rupees and several million dollars in cash.
Hezbollah’s financial headquarters were in the bunker!
According to images released by the Israel Defense Forces, the Al-Sahl hospital is located in the middle. This hospital has two entry and exit points. There are two buildings in front and behind the hospital. One is the Al-Ahmadi building and on the other side is the Center Al-Sahal building. Bunkers were built under these two buildings and a part of that bunker was right under that hospital. Hezbollah used the same bunker under the hospital to store its wealth. That means, in a way, that it was the financial headquarters of Hezbollah.
In the middle of the bunker there were dollars and gold.
Many rooms were built inside this bunker. There were also beds in the rooms. That means there was a complete agreement for someone to stay here for a long time. Not only that, this bunker also had all the weapons with which Hezbollah could fight its enemies. Or I could hit them back. Gold and dollars worth more than 500 million dollars were stored in part of this bunker. The place where the gold and money was kept is just below the hospital. That means this place was carefully built. Hezbollah was confident that Israel would never bomb the hospital. Therefore, this bunker and the money stored in it will always be safe.
This is how Hezbollah used to get financial aid
The question is: where did Hezbollah get so much money? So, according to the Israel Defense Forces, there are two ways to finance Hezbollah. First, within Lebanon, the Al Qadil Hassan Association helps Hezbollah by accepting donations from the Lebanese people or taking part from workers. Secondly, Iran is the one that helps Hezbollah the most financially. According to the IDF, Iranian Kurdish forces deliver bags full of money and gold to the Iranian embassy in Beirut. This money, which arrives in Beirut by plane, is given to Hezbollah.
Hezbollah people also ran factories.
According to the IDF, in addition to these two sources, Hezbollah has another source of income. Hezbollah has set up many factories in Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Türkiye. Part of his income also goes to Hezbollah’s account. Hezbollah Unit 4004 keeps accounts for all of these factories.
This treasure will be useful for Lebanon.
Now the question is whether the gold and cash worth Rs 500 million was taken away by the Israel Defense Forces inside this bunker built under Al-Sahal Hospital. According to the IDF, this is not the case. All this money is still present in that bunker under the same hospital. The IDF has said that the Lebanese government, which is struggling with a bad financial situation, can use this money for the well-being of the people. The IDF has also said it will not attack al-Sahl hospital. However, the IDF also made it clear that they are constantly monitoring this hospital via satellite. Not only this, as evidence, the IDF also presented images of all the hospital’s activities monitored via satellite.
Israel’s fight is not against the citizens of Lebanon.
However, along with this, the IDF has also threatened international organizations, including Lebanon, that Hezbollah must not be allowed to use these funds. Because their eyes are on the hospital building all the time. The IDF spokesperson also said that Israel’s fight is not against Lebanese citizens but against Hezbollah. However, despite this threat from the Israel Defense Forces, there is little hope that the Lebanese government will be able to use the wealth stored under the hospital bunker.
Two governments in Lebanon!
The main reason for this is that the entire Dahiya area in the south of Beirut, where this hospital is located, is under the control of Hezbollah. In fact, two governments operate simultaneously in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. One of them is the elected government of Lebanon. Which is led by Prime Minister Najib Mikati. While on the other hand, this area of Dahiya is completely under the control of Hezbollah. The Lebanese government, police or army do not work here.
Hezbollah captures Marun al-Ras
The last elections were held in Lebanon in May 2022. There are a total of 128 seats in the Parliament of Lebanon. But no one got a majority. The position of President of Lebanon is vacant as of 2022. The Prime Minister also holds an interim position. Maroun al-Ras is one of the two parts of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. This is the area of Beirut that is not occupied by the Lebanese government but by Hezbollah. And Hezbollah also has its headquarters in the same occupied area of Beirut.
Arab countries remain silent in the face of Israeli attack
The entire bunker area where Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah died is also under Hezbollah control. The area of Lebanon where the Israeli army is currently fighting a ground war is also an area under Hezbollah control. This is the only reason why Arab countries do not speak openly about the Israeli attack on Lebanon. Because in their eyes this Israeli attack is not against Lebanon or the Lebanese people but against Lebanon occupied by Hezbollah.
