Sindkhed Raja Assembly Seat: Assembly elections have been announced in Maharashtra and all political parties have started a vigorous campaign. There are a total of 288 seats in the state assembly for which voting will be held on November 20, 2024, while counting of votes will be held on November 23, 2024. Sindkhed Raja assembly seat is also one of these 288 seats in Maharashtra. It is part of the parliamentary seat of Buldhana. Apart from Sindkhed Raja, the Buldhana parliamentary constituency includes the assembly seats of Buldhana, Chikhali, Mehkar, Khamgaon and Jalgaon (Jamod).

As per 2008 delimitation, Sindkhed Raja assembly constituency consists of Devalgaon Raja tehsil, Sindkhed Raja tehsil, Chikhli tehsil (part), revenue division – Mera and Lonar tehsil (part), revenue division Bibi. In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, NCP’s Rajendra Shingne won the Sindkhed Raja seat. Rajendra Shingne has joined Ajit Pawar’s NCP. This time, it is up to the public to decide which party will be in favor of the Sindkhed Raja assembly seat results.

2019 election results

In the 2019 assembly elections, Rajendra Shingane defeated Shiv Sena’s Dr Shashikant Khedekar from Sindkhed assembly seat by a margin of 8,938 votes. Rajendra Shigane had received a total of 81,701 votes. While Dr. Shashikant Khedekar got 72,763 votes. While Savita Shivaji of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi came third. He obtained 39,875 votes. Rajendra Shigane had received a total of 40.58% votes, while Shashikant Khedekar had received 36.14% votes and Savita Shivaji had received 19.81% votes.

2014 election results

In the 2014 assembly elections, Shiv Sena’s Dr Shashikant Khedekar won the election from this seat. He obtained a total of 64,203 votes. While BJP’s Dr. Ganesh Baburao Mante came second. He obtained a total of 45,349 votes. The PCN candidate came third with 37,161 votes.
