Shrivardhan assembly of Maharashtra falls in Raigarh district. His Lok Sabha constituency is Raigarh. The Shrivardhan Assembly was formed in 1962. Since then elections are held here. The current MLA from Shrivardhan Assembly seat is Aditi Sunil Tatkare. He had won the 2019 assembly elections. This seat is said to be the stronghold of the NCP. Currently, the NCP's Ajit Pawar faction is the MLA here.

If we look at the electoral history of Shrivardhan Assembly, NCP candidates have won elections here thrice. As per the 2019 election results, NCP's Aditi Sunil Tatkare, who is currently in Ajit Pawar's faction. He obtained 92,074 votes. Shiv Sena leader Vinod Ramchandra Ghosalkar came second. The Shiv Sena leader polled 52,453 votes in the 2019 assembly elections.
The PCN candidate wins by only 77 votes
Also in the 2014 elections the PCN candidate won. NCP candidate Avadhoot Anil Tatkare got 61,038 votes. Shiv Sena leader Ravindra Ramji Munde got 60,961 votes. The PCN candidate won the 2014 Assembly elections here by just 77 votes.

NCP leader Sunil Tatkare won the 2009 assembly elections from here. Sunil Tatkare got 66,141 votes. Shiv Sena leader Tukaram Surve came second. The Shiv Sena leader got 55,270 votes. Independent candidate Ghulam Peshimam came in third position. The independent candidate obtained only 7,210 votes.
