- Shyampura echoed the motto of Jai Shri Shyam
(Mahendragarh News) Satnali. Vinod Pehalwan, a resident of Khand’s Shyampura village, on Wednesday left for Rajasthan’s world-famous Khatu Shyam Ji Dham for the Pet Palaan Dandavat Yatra from the village’s martyr Ashok Singh memorial. Before this, Pandit Ratanlal Sharma offered prayers to Shyam Premi Vinod Pehalwan and wished the journey success. During this time, Shyam’s villagers and lovers were seen dancing to Baba’s hymns.
Shyam’s lovers echoed in the sky with the cheers of Shyam Baba, so the entire atmosphere became dark. During the departure of the yatra, Vinod Pehalwan was bid farewell with the bhajans and color gulal of Shyam and the village elders blessed Vinod Pehalwan. Vinod Pehalwan said that he has immense faith in Shyam Baba and with the desire that his wife Kavita be elected Sarpanch in the Panchayat elections, he had made a promise to Baba Shyam that if his wife is elected Sarpanch, then she will go to Khatu Shyam on pilgrimage to pay homage. He will come to thank Baba.
After his wish was fulfilled, the yatra was started today from the martyr Ashoka monument, paying homage to the martyrs. They will cover the distance of around 200 kilometers only through Pet Palayan Dandavat Yatra. During this time, many villagers including Narendra Fauji, Surendra Panch, Radheshyam, Sandeep, Dinesh and Ramesh Panch were present.
