Baghdad: The Iraqi Prime Minister has said that a commander of the Islamic State terrorist organization and eight other terrorists have been killed during a military operation. At the same time, US officials said that US and Iraqi security forces carried out a joint operation overnight on Monday and during the operation, two US soldiers were also wounded.

Another US official said the Pentagon was waiting for final investigative analysis before revealing the identities of the slain militants.
