A shooting incident has come to light in the Tuftan area of Iran's Sistan-Baluchistan province. This attack, which took place amid Israeli airstrikes, has added to Iran's problems. Ten soldiers of the Iranian Faraja Force have been killed in shootings by unknown gunmen.
Local media and state news agency IRNA reported that the force was attacked by “unknown elements.” However, the government agency has not given much information about the attack and said that a detailed statement on the matter will be issued soon.
Two people killed in Israeli airstrike
Authorities have not yet identified any suspects in the attack, nor has any organization claimed responsibility for it. On the same Saturday, Israel attacked some Iranian military bases, in which at least two people were confirmed dead.
The province of Sistan-Baluchistan is one of the most sensitive areas of Iran, where ethnic and political violence has occurred for a long time. There are also frequent reports of activities of Baloch separatists and religious extremists in this region, creating problems for the Iranian regime.
