Eight people were arrested on the spot, including hotel owner Naveen Arora. Naveen Arora has also been a district executive officer of the BJP in the past. The police are currently trying to find, layer by layer, connections to the casino that operates in his hotel. In this case new revelations are being made. So far, proceedings have been filed against a total of 15 people.
At present, according to preliminary investigation, it is likely that the casino table, casino coins, etc. found in the Meerut hotel have been brought from Goa and Gurugram. Because some people had also come from there. If sources are to be believed, the casino team was brought to this hotel about 15 days ago and then it was made public. The conversation and reservation was made through a WhatsApp call.
The police are said to be busy searching and identifying all the people arriving there in connection with the casino being run at the ‘Harmony Inn’ hotel. Security cameras have identified between 30 and 50 people. The names and mobile numbers of many people have also been found in a hotel cash register.
On this matter, Ayush Vikram of Meerut city SP said that preparations are being made to send notices to all of them. In addition, these people will also be summoned for questioning. At the same time, the concerned departments will soon begin an investigation into the report sent by the police against the hotel.
It is learned that the police had received information about a casino at the three-star hotel ‘Harmony Inn’ in Meerut, where a team of three police officers was formed and raided on Monday night. Eight people, including hotel owner Naveen Arora, were arrested from the spot. The girls were invited to the casino and big bets were placed at the casino table in front of the girls serving alcohol. Currently, the place where the casino operated (first floor of the hotel) has been sealed by the police.
