Who is Kartikey Singh Chauhan?
Kartikeya Singh Chauhan is the eldest son of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. By-elections held in Budhni
Shivraj Singh Chauhan contested the assembly elections for the first time in 1990 from the Budhni seat. After this he was MP from Vidisha several times. Since 2003, he has been elected MLA from Budhni assembly seat. This time the party had contested the parliamentary elections against Shivraj Singh Chauhan; After winning, he had to vacate Budhni’s seat. Therefore, by-elections are now being held for the Budhni seat. Karthikeya is more attached to Budhni’s seat because, in a way, it had become the seat of his family.
