India will soon export artificial intelligence solutions
India, the darling of the global computing industry, will see a 20-fold increase in its computing capacity by 2024 and will soon export powerful artificial intelligence solutions, Jensen Huang said on Thursday. Huang emphasized Nvidia’s commitment to expanding its ecosystem in India. He said, “India is much loved by the global IT industry, it is the center of the IT industry and is at the IT center of almost every company in the world.”
Country on the way to becoming a power in the development and distribution of AI
Huang said India, which has traditionally been a hub for software exports, is poised to become a leader in AI exports in the future. Huang emphasized that the country is moving from being a “back office” for software production to becoming a “powerhouse” in AI development and distribution. “In the long term, I hope we all have our own AI ‘co-pilots,'” he said.
How much threat does AI pose to jobs?
Responding to concerns about job losses caused by AI, Huang emphasized that AI will not completely eliminate jobs, but will fundamentally change the way work is done. He said: “AI will not eliminate jobs by any means, but someone who uses AI to do a job better will eliminate jobs.”
