Muzaffarpur: In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a young man died under suspicious circumstances and two people lost their sight. The incident took place in Deh Jeevar village. According to the information, the health of the three people deteriorated after consuming the drink. It is suspected that the three had consumed poisonous liquor, but the police administration has not officially confirmed it. The police are currently investigating the matter.

According to information, young Shyam Kishore Sahni died under suspicious circumstances in Deh Jeevar village on Tuesday night. While two people lost their sight. It is suspected that poisonous liquor was drunk behind the incident. The villagers talk of death from drinking poisonous liquor.

It is said that on Monday everyone had consumed suspicious drinks together at a rooster party. Everyone’s condition began to deteriorate late at night. He couldn’t see anything with his eyes. The family was admitted to several nursing homes and when Shyam Sahni’s condition became critical, he was referred to SKMCH. The family took him to SKMCH on Tuesday night. He died during treatment. Hathori police station chief Mohammad Alam said one person died during treatment at SKMCH. The issue of alcohol has not come up.

200 cases of liquor seized in tanker truck

On the other hand, even after the ban on alcohol in Bihar, bootleggers are adopting various tricks. Sometimes they bring the shipment of liquor hidden in an ambulance, sometimes in a truck. Now information has come to light that the smuggler built a basement inside the tanker to carry liquor. The team of Excise Department at Sakri Saraiya on Muzaffarpur-Hajipur highway has recovered foreign liquor and beer from Hindustan Petroleum tanker. The driver of the tanker fled taking advantage of the darkness. The tanker was seized and taken to Chhata Chowk Excise Police Station.



According to the excise department, the tanker was to be unloaded at Muzaffarpur itself. Deputy Commissioner of Excise Vijay Shekhar Dubey said secret information was received that a consignment of liquor was being secretly transported in a tanker. A team was formed and a blockade was made at Ramdayalu. Meanwhile, the tanker moved quickly from Ramdayalu to Hajipur Road. When the production team started chasing him, the driver and the smuggler fled the scene leaving the tanker at NH in Sakri Saraiya. 200 cases of liquor have been seized on the tanker. The businessman is being identified.
