Defense Minister Rajath Singh
Disengagement work has been completed at Demchok and Depsang in eastern Ladakh. Soldiers from India and China have returned. Patrols will also start at these places from tomorrow i.e. Friday. On patrols between the two countries, Union Minister Rajnath Singh said talks were going on at both diplomatic and military levels between India and China to resolve the conflict in some areas of the LAC.
There has been a mutual consensus to restore the ground situation. This consensus has been developed on the basis of equality and mutual security, which has been agreed. This also includes patrolling and capacity rights in traditional areas. On the basis of this consent the disengagement process has been completed. Our effort is to move forward with the matter from the disconnection but for this we will have to wait.
He said that we want to continue this peace process through consensus. Sometimes situations arise where one has to fight to protect the country’s borders, while the government makes every effort to maintain peace. This is a great advance related to the border with LAC. After our efforts, we have reached a consensus on the situation on the ground in LAC.
Rajnath Singh said that the northeast is very important from the security point of view. As beautiful as this area is from a natural point of view, it is equally challenging from a geographical point of view. India and China have been talking for a long time to resolve the issues. While talking to the army personnel, Singh said that the agreement reached between the two countries is not a small thing, it is a very big thing. We have achieved all this thanks to you. This mutual communication was possible because everyone is aware of your courage and bravery.
