Team Pakistan has finally returned to winning ways. The Pakistan team, which faced criticism for its continued poor performance, managed to win the test series against England 2-1. This series victory was also very important for the Pakistan team. Pakistan won a test series at home after almost 4 years. To win this series, Pakistan also took a unique decision. In the last test match played in Rawalpindi, Pakistan did something that had never been seen before in the history of their Test cricket.

This happened for the first time in the history of Pakistan.

Pakistan won the last match of the test series against England by 9 wickets. Their spinners had the most important contribution in this victory. Pakistan spinners took 20 of England's 20 wickets in the match. What was special was that captain Shan Masood did not bowl a single fast bowler during this period i.e. in both Pakistan matches only spinners were used. Let us tell you that this was the first time in the history of Pakistan cricket that he did not bowl any fast bowler in a Test match. His decision turned out to be correct and Pakistan managed to break the losing streak.

Spinners made history in Pakistan

The spinners of both teams together took a total of 73 wickets in this series, this is also a record. Before this, spinners had not taken so many wickets in any Test series in Pakistan. At the beginning of the year 1969/70, in the Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand, the spinners had taken a total of 71 wickets. Pakistani spinners Sajid Khan and Noman Ali were the biggest heroes of their victory against England. Both the bowlers were not part of the 11 field in the first match of the series, however, the maximum number of wickets in the series remained in the name of these two bowlers.

Noman Ali played 2 matches in this series and took 20 wickets, he topped the list of players who took the most wickets. At the same time, Sajid Khan made victims of a total of 19 batsmen in 4 innings of 2 matches. It remained in second place on this list. England's Jack Leach was England's most successful bowler with 16 wickets.
