Phulpur Election: Is it possible that there are elections in Uttar Pradesh and there is no political movement? After all the speculations and guesses, all the parties, including the Samajwadi Party and the BJP, have fielded their candidates. Phulpur assembly seat is also among the nine assembly seats for which by-elections will be held. Phulpur seat is included among the popular seats. In this seat, the Samajwadi Party has declared former MLA Mujtaba Siddiqui and the BJP has declared Deepak Patel, son of former MP Keshari Devi Patel. So Jitendra Singh is in the BSP fray.

There is tough competition between these candidates.

Main contest between BJP and Samajwadi Party

While the main contest in the by-election to Phulpur assembly seat in Prayagraj is being considered between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party, the Bahujan Samaj Party has tried to make the contest triangular by changing the candidates. The BSP first declared Shivbaran Pasi as its candidate and then named Jitendra Singh as its candidate in his place.

The path to victory is not easy for the three parties

There is a close contest for this seat in Phulpur between BJP, SP and BSP and it will not be easy for the three parties to find a way to win amid this close contest. However, the three parties do not consider themselves less than anyone else.

Large number of Patel community

If we talk about the caste equation, then there are a large number of members of the Patel community capable of changing the voting trend here. Keeping this in mind, the BJP has chosen Deepak Patel as its candidate from Phulpur, on the basis of around 60,000 Yadavs. and 50,000 Muslim voters the SP has fielded three-time MLA Mujtaba Siddiqui.

More scheduled caste voters

The maximum number of Scheduled Caste voters here is said to be around 75,000. After Scheduled Caste, Patel voters are considered the highest in this seat. The number of Patel community is around 70 thousand. Apart from this, there are 60,000 Yadavs, 50,000 Muslims, 40 to 45,000 Brahmins, 22,000 Nishads, 16,000 Vaishyas, 15,000 Kshatriyas and about 50,000 other communities in this headquarters.

The by-elections will be held on November 13.

Four lakh seven thousand 366 voters will exercise their franchise in the by-elections to be held on November 13 in Phulpur. In this, 58 eunuch voters will also exercise their right to vote. Apart from this, a total of two lakh 23 thousand 560 male voters and one lakh 83 thousand 748 female voters will exercise their right to vote in the assembly.

Voting will take place on November 13 and the counting of votes will take place on November 23.
