Self-reliant India is our passion: Modi

Last day, in the 115th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Modi, addressing the people of the country, said that self-reliance is not just our policy, but has now become our passion. The campaign for a self-reliant India is becoming a mass movement. 10 years ago, if someone had said that some complex technology was being developed in the country, many people would not have believed it. Instead of believing, many people made fun of it. He said that today India is doing amazing work in all fields and people who used to make fun of it are now surprised to see the country reaching great heights.

The ‘Imaging Telescope’ showing the power of self-reliant India

Prime Minister Modi said that this month we inaugurated Asia’s largest ‘MACE Imaging Telescope’, located at an altitude of 4,300 meters in Hanle, Ladakh. He said Hanle of Ladakh is a place where the cold is less than -30 degrees. There is even a shortage of oxygen there. The Prime Minister said that under such difficult circumstances, local industry and our scientists have done what no other country in Asia has been able to do to date. He said the Hanley Telescope may be looking at a distant world, but it is an example of India’s growing self-reliance and strength. This shows us the strength of self-reliant India.
