People from these 3 states will not be able to obtain benefits

In a major cabinet meeting held on September 11, 2024, it was announced that it would cover all people above 70 years of age under AB-PMJAY. Let us tell you that the benefit of this scheme will not be available in Delhi, Odisha and West Bengal because the governments here have not yet started it. How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana

To avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, you must first register on the PMJAY portal or Ayushman app. If a person is already covered under this scheme, they will have to reapply and complete eKYC through their Aadhaar card to get the new card. By doing this, senior citizens will get a separate additional cover of Rs 5 lakh. Apart from this, people who are covered under ESIC and private company health insurance can also apply for this plan.

You can receive free treatment anywhere in 29,648 hospitals

A total of 29,648 hospitals are associated with Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana as on September 1, 2024, of which 12,696 are private hospitals, where a person covered under PMJAY can receive cashless treatment.
