Decision taken after action against Sukhbir Singh Badal
Punjab Assembly Bypoll (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal has decided not to field its candidates in the assembly by-elections to be held in four seats in the state. This decision was made at the meeting of the party’s working committee. It may be noted that a day earlier, Akal Takht Sahib had ordered that Sukhbir Singh Badal could not be part of the campaign in these by-elections. After this, the SAD decided not to present its candidates in these by-elections.
SAD respects Akal Takht Sahib: Cheema
After the meeting that lasted over two hours, party leader Daljit Singh Cheema said that SAD fully respects Akal Takht Sahib ji from the beginning. He said the decision was taken by Akal Takht Sahib. Keeping this in mind, the party will not field candidates for any seats and will stay away from these by-elections. It should be noted that this is the first time since 1992 that the SAD has decided not to field candidates in any election held in the state.
A conspiracy is being hatched to capture the SGPC
Serious allegations were made against the BJP-AAP at the central committee meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Party leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said that just as conspiracies were hatched to dissolve the Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee and the Gurdwara Management Committee in Haryana, similarly now the BJP government at the Centre, RSS and the Punjab Aam Aadmi Party have captured the SGPC. Conspiracies are being hatched. Cheema said he also has strong evidence in this regard.
