Let it be known that Satkar Kaur was the Congress MLA from 2017 to 22. After this, she left the Congress and joined the BJP in 2022. Former Firozpur Dehat MLA Satkar Kaur has been expelled from the party by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The party spokesperson said Satkar Kaur has been expelled from the party. Satkar Kaur was arrested on Wednesday while supplying 100 grams of heroin near Kharar, Mohali. He was arrested by the Narcotics Department team based on secret information while laying a trap in Kharak’s Sunny Enclave market. His nephew was driving the car. The arrested accused was identified as Satkar Kaur Ghari and the youth was identified as Jaskirat Singh. Police recovered 100 grams of heroin from the woman on the spot. A further 28 grams of heroin were later recovered. The police arrested the two accused and began taking additional measures in order to obtain information about their other contacts.

Giving information in this regard, Director General of Police (IGP) Sukhchain Singh Gill said that the captured youth is Jaskirat Singh, a resident of Bahibal Khurd village of Firozpur and currently living in the house of a former MLA. in Sunny Enclave of Kharar. While the accused Satkar Kaur had been the MLA of Firozpur Rural constituency from 2017 to 2022. When the police arrested both of them and searched their house, Rs 1.56 lakh in cash, some gold jewelery and license plates were also recovered. number plates of several cars with Haryana and Delhi numbers. In addition to this, four vehicles, including Toyota Fortuner, BMW, Hyundai Verna and Chevrolet, were also seized.

The accused tried to run over the police

IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill said that after getting concrete information and complete details of the mobile calls, the police chalked out a plan to arrest the two accused.
