He said warehouses in Punjab were not emptied this year due to a conspiracy.
Punjab News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party leaders have once again attacked the Central Government for not removing rice from the state warehouses on time. During a press conference at the Chandigarh office, AAP MP Malvinder Singh Kang said that it is a routine procedure of the Ministry of Food Supply, Government of India that the FCI removes old grains from its warehouses every year before for them to reach the mandis so that the grains can be moved. The place was empty.
This work will not last just a year or two, but the same process has been going on for decades. Kang, along with AAP leaders Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar and Shaminder Khinda, at the party office in Chandigarh on Tuesday, said that this time the central government deliberately did not abandon warehouses to harass Punjab farmers. Now that the controversy has escalated and the central government is trapped, it is misleading the people of Punjab by lying through its minister Ravneet Bittu.

BJP created controversy
The BJP has deliberately created this controversy. Kang questioned and said that the BJP leaders are saying that why the Chief Minister himself does not go to Delhi and resolve the matter, does the BJP want the Punjab Chief Minister to hold the feet of the Prime Minister to vacate the warehouse? If this is what they want, then they should openly say that the matter will be resolved only when the Chief Minister holds the feet of the Prime Minister and pleads with him. Kang said that since March, the Punjab Food Supply Department had been writing letters to the FCI and the Central Ministry asking for grains to be abandoned, but the Central Government continued to sleep like Kumbhkaran for 9 months.

The state government has been writing letters to the Center since March.
Along with the dates, Kang said the Punjab Food Supply Department first wrote a letter to the FCI on March 5, then on March 11, 13, 19 and 22. I wrote letters twice in June, on the 14th and 27th. I also wrote on September 3rd. After correspondence between officials, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself spoke to Union Minister Prahlad Joshi on phone on September 25 and met him in Delhi on September 30. Later, the Chief Minister also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister JP Nadda. Now let the BJP people tell you who else you should meet.
